Welcome to Boones Ferry Primary PSS!  PSS (Parents and Staff for Students) is a non-profit organization that works just like a traditional PTA, but differs in that members are not required to pay dues and are not affiliated with a national organization.  We are an organization dedicated to enriching our children's school experience, creating a community within our school, and contributing to an environment of excellence where our children thrive.

International Celebration of Children

Spring Book Fair is BOGO!

Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair is May 13th-17th. In addition to all books being BOGO, thanks to all of our fundraising efforts this year, PSS was able to donate $5 for every Boones Ferry student to spend at the Book Fair. We expect to be very busy and will need as many volunteers as possible to run this event.

McTeachers Night is May 14th


Help our school earn money by visiting McDonalds on May 14th between 5 and 7 pm. This event is a kids favorite! They love to see teachers and staff working behind the counter, and expect an appearance by Ronald McDonald himself.

PSS Meeting May 22nd at 7pm

Join us in the BFPS library at 7pm on Wednesday, May 22nd, for our last PSS meeting of the 2018-19 school year. We will talk about current happenings and look forward to plans for next year!

Field Day May 31st

Look for more information coming home soon! If you want to volunteer for this day of fun, contact Jill Trotter in the BFPS office. We need at least 2 volunteers per station to help at this event.

In addition, Sue Bynum is looking for 2 large tug-o-war ropes to borrow for the day. If you have one to loan or have the ability to borrow one, please contact Sue Bynum with details. Thank you!

5th Grade Celebration June 10th

With the end of the school year quickly approaching, planning for the annual 5th Grade Celebration is in full swing. We always need 4th and 5th grade parents to help with this event. Please contact Kristel Meisner if you are interested in helping, or check out the SignUp Genius links below.

Our goal next year is to have more people working on each event or activity to lighten the load for everyone. We have opportunities during the school day, after school, evenings and weekends. We have opportunities for all levels of involvement or time commitments. Recruit a friend or two to join a committee with you and do all the work over coffee or lunch with friends! If you are interested in helping out in any of the following areas, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Jessica Miller for details.
